Is Corona virus man-made ?

How dreadful the idea could be if it is proved that the novel Coronavirus that has spelt a world-wide disaster is not a natural virus but a manufactured one !

If man-made, could this virus spread be a prologue to the impending havoc that biological war might wreak ?

The other day French virologist and medicine Nobel laureate Luc Montagnier made an explosive revelation of sorts  saying that the deadly COVID-19  was manufactured in a laboratory in China’s Wuhan.

Montagnier claimed that the virus, which causes the COVID-19 infection that is wreaking havoc around the world, was the result of an attempt to manufacture a vaccine against HIV in a Chinese lab.

Quick on the heels came a statement allegedly made by Professor Tasuku Honjo, Japan’s Nobel prize winning Professor of Medicine, that Coronavirus is not natural has gone viral on social media.

His statement says “If it is natural, it wouldn’t have adversely affected the entire world like this. Because, as per nature, temperature is different in different countries. If it is natural, it would adversely affect only those countries having the same temperature as China.

“Instead, it is spreading in a country like Switzerland, in the same way it is spreading in the desert areas. Whereas if it were natural, it would have spread in cold places, but died in hot places.

“I have done 40 years of research on animals and viruses. It is not natural. It is manufactured and the virus is completely artificial" says the statement.

The theory that COVID-19 was created in a Chinese lab and “leaked” out to the world has been making the rounds since its outbreak in December 2019.

Though the US has been asking for a transparent inquiry into the genesis of the deadly virus for which no vaccine could be found so far,  the WHO avers that all available evidence to date suggests that the novel coronavirus has a natural animal origin, and was not a manipulated or constructed virus. But many countries have already questioned the objectivity of the WHO in addressing the pandemic.

None of the versions can be ruled out … I think that we must conduct a very serious research,” said  head of Russia’s Federal Medical-Biological Agency Veronika Skvortsova
